Their Season of Struggle

Even when it felt like their dream of a family might never happen, they clung to the tiniest spark of hope. “The brokenness wasn’t going to last forever,” his mama shared. “It’s just a season.” After six years of emotional, physical, and financial challenges, their faith carried them through.

Infertility refined their marriage, deepened their relationships, and shifted their perspective. “God is so good,” she said. “Our sweet Elias was always in the cards for us.”

Additionally, community played a huge role along the way. The local Oklahoma support group Moms in the Making offered encouragement, lifelong friendships, and hope when it was needed most. And thanks to the Hope for Fertility Foundation, an IVF grant lifted the financial burden and made this dream possible.

Pregnancy wasn’t easy, and those first newborn days were harder than anyone could prepare for (including a hilarious mix-up during their newborn session scheduling – those early days are such a blur!). But every sleepless night and every long day was cherished because of the journey it took to get to their sweet boy.

Now, holding Elias in their arms, their family is complete, their hearts are full, and their story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the longest roads lead to the most beautiful destinations.
